AboutThe Presidential Cabinet has been a tradition ever since Presidential existence. The Cabinet is establish in Article II, section 2 of our Constitution. Each of the 15 members of The Cabinet are assigned a specific department. Members are referred to as "Secretary of (Department)". The duty of each of these members is to simply advise the President on any issue relating to each corresponding department. The 15 separate departments are Secretary of: State, Treasury, Defense, Interior, Agriculture, Commerce, Labor, Transportation, Energy, Education, Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, and Justice (otherwise referred to as the Attorney General).
